Prayers for Samantha

Please be praying for Samantha. She was playing last night in her basketball game and hurt her ankle. Karen and Ervin took her to the hospital and they did find out that it wasn't broken-but the Dr. told her he thought if she stayed off of it until Monday she would be OK! That's great, except that Saturday is Sr. Day at the last home ballgame. Karen said she just "fell apart". I know to those of us that face and have faced problems that are so much greater, this request seems petty. But to an 18 year old that is finishing up her high school career, this is devastating. Just keep her in your prayers-she is a tough kid and she will be alright, but I will hate it if she has to miss this "big" day. Thanks!

Bless her heart! I am so sorry and yes we will remember her in prayer and pray for a speedy recovery. It is sad that we get so caught up in our own problems and those around us that we forget what may not seem like a big deal to me could be a mountain to some one else. Everyone has their own burden, "big" or "small", but it is not our place to decide one "worthy" of attention. You are a wonderful aunt and all your girls are VERY blessed to have you in their lives.

Love you!

I am so sorry!!! We know & feel her pain! Thank goodness it is not broke & she can participate in the tournaments & soccer!! I know that does not make her feel any better, but oh how that is so much better than a break or a blown out knee that will put you down for 6 stinkin months!!! Hang in Sam...you will make it, try to find that bright spot...Love ya!
